STUDENT ILLNESS

If your child is not well in the morning, do not send them to school expecting them to recover.  If a child becomes ill during the school day, the parent/ guardian will be contacted at home/ work to inform them of the child's illness and to request that they take their student home.  Reasons for keeping your child at home or for sending a student home from school would be:  fever, red / mattery eyes, suspected ringworm/ impetigo, vomiting, suspicious looking rash, untreated pink eye, excessive coughing, diarrhea, or use of an antibiotic for less then 24 hours.

It is important to have a backup/emergency phone number/ contact to call if the school is unable to reach the parent/ guardian for some reason.
