About Me

Hello!  My name is Kiley Puetz (pronounced Pits).  I am a third grade teacher at the Dover-Eyota Elementary.  This is my fourth year in this position.  I am originally from the Lewiston area.  I went to school at Minnesota State University-Mankato and received a double major in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education.  I got my first job working at Sibley East in Arlington, MN teaching second grade.  The next year, I transitioned to Gaylord, MN (still Sibley East) as a fourth grade teacher where I taught for 4 years.  In that time, I got married to my high school sweetheart Kyle, received my Master's Degree in Education, and had our son, Lincoln.  We decided with the birth of our son to move "back to our roots" and to be closer to family.  Then, our baby girl, Everly, was born in the summer of 2017.  Next to come is Levi.  Our baby boy was born last spring.  I had some time off last year with the birth of Levi and am looking forward to a full year of learning!  I'm starting to learn the parenting side of school as Lincoln is off to preschool again this spring.  I very much look foward to meeting all of you!
