Parental involvement is essential to student success.

Here are some ways that you can help your child succeed in music:

Make sure your child is practicing every day.  Consistent practice reinforces new skills on their instrument and voice.  Ideally, your child should be practicing 5 days per week for 20 minutes at a time.

Be aware of your child’s progress.  Students should be passing one page per week.

5th Grade Band

Mrs. Wellner is so excited to welcome beginners to our 5th grade band program! We have weekly lessons, group band during the 2nd semester, and perform at an end-of-the-year concert in May.

6th Grade Band

Sixth grade is an exciting year in the band program! Between the concerts and solo performances, our students are becoming mature musicians at an early age. Our band performs three concerts as a group each school year. Individuals band students perform at the Middle School Solo Festival in May. Sixth Grade Students are invited to join Middle School Jazz Band.

Check out our Google classroom page through your student’s account or join as a guardian!
