Independent Living Description

What will life bring you? The purpose of this class is to help prepare you for many of the adventures that await you as you move on to the next phase of your life. Practical, common sense information for everyday living will be the focus of this class. Much of this class will involve having conversations about everyday life.  Everything from Jobs, Housing, Finances, cooking, dealing with a financial crisis down to cooking, cleaning and laundry will be covered. Additional topics may be added as we personalize the class to cover student needs. It is important to complete all the assignments. Class time will be given to do this. This is an essential skill and your grade will hinge on this.
