In 4th Grade we spend a lot of time learning geography. The students will be expected to know all 50 states and capitals and label them on a map. They will also be expected to know 20 significant locations and be able to label them on a map as well. These locations include: The Great Lakes, Washington DC, Chicago, LA, NYC, The Rocky Mountains, The Application Mountains, The Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore, The Pacific Ocean, The Atlantic Ocean, The Gulf of Mexico, The Mississippi River, Canada, and Mexico.
