D-EVN Volunteer Game Schedules and Sign-Ups
We are looking forward to another great year in 2023-2024! Back in the summer of 2021, Dover-Eyota took advantage of an offer by NFHS Network for free Pixellot Cameras, along with free installation of those cameras. The Pixellot cameras are fully automated systems and also incorporate the scoreboard information into the broadcasts. So, like last year for the vast majority of the livestreams and productions, D-EVN won’t need volunteers to run the camera or to do any of the graphics! Because of that automation, D-EVN will be able to broadcast virtually all games and matches played in the gym and out on the football & soccer field, including 9th grade/JV games and matches! BUT!! Announcers are still needed! D-EVN is presently planning to once again have announcers just for varsity games and matches, but if there is interest out there for people to be volunteer announcers for other levels, that would be great to know! Our signup sheet (link below) is will reflect the present season (as soon as it is ready), but please contact Bryan Berg at bryanberg@deschools.org if you are interested in announcing for some of the other levels of competition for Dover-Eyota athletics that will be broadcast!

As they become available, you will find the links above and below to the Schedule and Sign-up pages that are provided as editable Google Spreadsheets. Instructions are simple: In the spreadsheet provided at the link, find events that you are interested in volunteering for, and type your name in the box for the crew job that you’d like to do for that event. That’s it! Crew jobs that are highlighted in red or yellow on the spreadsheet, and that have no name in them, are available and needed! Announcers will be the primary need for most events, but there will be some that will need a camera person and possibly a graphics person as well throughout the year!
