FAFSA Free Application for Federal Student Aid, US Dept of Education:  FAFSA Application

The FAFSA website is a first step in the financial aid process.  Four years ago, there were new changes to the FAFSA. In past years students could not submit a FAFSA until January 1st.  Beginning three years ago, students can submit a FAFSA on October 1 rather than January 1 of the new year. Therefore, seniors can begin their FAFSA on October 1, 2023.  There has been a significant overhaul of the FAFSA in the last year which means the FAFSA may not open until December.  More information to come!
